Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Radiant Intelligence, Inc. ("Radiant," "we," "us," or "our") provides software that helps SaaS businesses ("Customers") detect and reduce customer churn by connecting to their analytics and billing tools, identifying at-risk users, and conducting retention outreach on the Customer's behalf. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, book a call with us, or use the Radiant service (collectively, the "Service").
For questions about this policy, contact us at danny@tryradiant.ai or by mail at 2261 Market Street STE 19827, San Francisco, CA 94114.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & contact details — name, work email, company, role, and password or single sign-on identifier when you create an account or request a demo.
- Booking information — when you schedule a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, time zone, and anything you add to the booking form.
- Billing details — handled by our payment processor; we receive limited records (plan, status, last four digits of a card) but do not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, chat, or support channels.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser type, and similar log data, collected through cookies and analytics.
Data from Customer integrations
When a Customer connects their accounts, Radiant receives data through read-only authorization, including:
- Product analytics (e.g., from PostHog) — end-user event streams, feature usage, session activity, and user properties.
- Billing & subscription data (e.g., from Stripe) — subscription status, plan, MRR, and cancellation events.
- Outreach delivery data (e.g., from Resend or Twilio) — message delivery, opens, replies, and related metadata for outreach the Service sends on the Customer's behalf.
This integration data may include personal information about the Customer's own end users. For that data, Radiant generally acts as a processor on the Customer's behalf (see Section 4).
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service, including detecting churn signals and generating and sending retention outreach as configured by the Customer.
- To authenticate users, process subscriptions, and provide support.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
- To analyze and improve the Service, including model and feature performance, using aggregated or de-identified data wherever practical.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where required by law (for example, under the GDPR), we rely on one or more lawful bases: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Our role: controller vs. processor
For information about our own visitors, account holders, and billing contacts, Radiant is a data controller. For end-user data we process through Customer integrations in order to deliver the Service, Radiant is a data processor acting on the Customer's documented instructions. In that role, the Customer is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents for the processing — including consent to contact end users by email or SMS. Our processing of that data is governed by our Data Processing Addendum, available on request.
5. How we share information & sub-processors
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers / sub-processors that help us run the Service, under contracts that restrict their use of the data. These currently include cloud hosting and database providers, our analytics provider, our payment processor, our email and SMS delivery providers, and our large-language-model provider used to draft outreach.
- At your direction — for example, when the Service sends a message to one of your end users on your behalf.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Radiant, our Customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Customer and integration data is retained for the duration of the Customer's subscription and deleted or de-identified within 90 days after termination, except where we are required to keep it longer by law. Customers can request export or deletion of their data at any time.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege authorization, and read-only integration scopes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International data transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK and of certain U.S. states (including California under the CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise a right, contact danny@tryradiant.ai. If your data was provided to us by a Customer (as an end user), please direct your request to that Customer; we will assist them as their processor.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such message. End-user outreach sent through the Service includes opt-out handling as configured by the Customer.
10. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
